Do your vents rotate up and down? This little GPS mount for the Nuvi is fine if your air vents do not move up and down. Does not work with all Street Pilots. This mount does not hook very securely into the vents of my 05 Ford Focus ZX3 (Or my Jeep Wrangler, or my girlfriend's Jeep Liberty). Didn't work on a Civic, but worked on an Altima. Cheap and easy to use. The good thing about this is that you do not need to leave attached to car's dashboard, you can take to one car to another relatively easy and is very cheap. I bought this mount to mount my GPS in an easily viewed position. Have GPS? Then you really need this. This is the neatest little gadget to finally replace the nasty dashboard holders for portable GPS. Necessary but not an exact fit. I have 2 other models of Arkon vent mounts that I have used for many years for holding my cell phone and Pocket PC - and these have worked perfectly. Great solution for "No mounting on windshield" states. Even if you are allowed to mount items to the windshield, this is better in my opinion. Awesome product. I have a Jaguar, did not have NAV installed. It worked for my Volvo XC90! The price was right to give this product a try for my Volvo XC90. Not sturdy, not worth it. The vent mount will stay attached where the suction cup that came with the Garmin rarely does, but that pretty much stops the positives. Worth the price: this item works good. Fits perfect. This vent mount is very useful, provided that your car has a suitable vent- this means the vent must be located suitably to accommodate the GPS unit, and the slats on the vent must be horizontal.
